For the past several years, the Humane Society has conducted low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinics at the shelter at least once a week. Thousands of animals (dogs and cats) have been sterilized. Most of the surgeries have been performed by Dr. Radcliffe Robins, the Humane Society’s Vice President and Veterinary Advisor. Since the introduction of the Dogs Registration & Control Act, 2006, all dogs that come to be spayed or neutered are also microchipped and registered at the same time.
